EuroChem is a Russian company ranking among the top three European and top 10 global producers and suppliers of mineral fertilizers. Working alongside The College, Trafiq have been providing EuroChem’s online annual and social reports since 2009.
With it’s increasing European activities and international profile, it was imperative that EuroChem’s corporate reporting kept pace with the highest standards globally. Furthermore, after our success with the 2010 online report—which won numerous accolades in Russia as well as a nomination at the 2011 IR-Society’s Best Practice Awards—we could not allow this year to be any exception.
What we did
From our previous experience of working on EuroChem’s 2009 and 2010 online reports we knew exactly what to expect. Their reports are large, containing numerous different content types all accessible in both English and Russian. With so much content to consider it was extremely important that the design be flexible enough to accommodate whilst at the same time maintaining visual interest by not becoming too formulaic.
Once published, annual report content rarely changes so with this mind we opted to develop the site without the use of a CMS. The lack of a CMS removed an unnecessary overhead and allowed us to focus on creating a site that was versatile, secure and incredibly quick to load.
We are please to say that 2011 was indeed no exception. EuroChem’s 2011 annual report was declared “Absolute Winner” at the 2012 Sochi International Investment Forum and was recognised as best Russian report at the 13th annual competition for corporate reports organised by Expert RA rating agency.
